Ramy began dancing the summer before his 1st year at UC Irvine. Taking Boogiezone classes following the suggestion of some friends, he found a passion in dancing he didn’t realize he had.
Ramy took the opportunity to join Common Ground’s Junior Team, Under Ground, in the Winter of 2007 and was a member of their first generation team. He eventually auditioned for Common Ground Dance Team based in Irvine, and joined their 2007-2008 team as a new member halfway through their year. Hoping to further himself as a dancer, he auditioned for Kaba Modern in February 2009 and was soon selected as one of six members of the new 2009 class. He hopes to bring as much to the team as they have already brought to him.
