Born in Chula Vista, California, Lyndsay was always a child who enjoyed being outdoors among nature. To keep their daughter indoors, her parents enrolled her into gymnastics at the age of 8. Her gymnastics coach suggested that Lyndsay take ballet to aid in her poise and grace. At age 9, Lyndsay chose to continue her training in dance over gymnastics and was enrolled at Neisha’s Dance Academy. Here she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. At the age of 10, Lyndsay joined their hip hop, lyrical, and modern companies, in which she was a member for 8 years.

In 2003, she began choreographing for her modern company and in 2004 began teaching in all styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop, to kids varying in age from 3 to 18. Lyndsay earned scholarships to various conventions and dance studios throughout the LA area, including the Millennia Dance Complex. In 2005, she apprenticed and dance with the Unity Dance Ensemble of San Diego.

Lyndsay attended Southwestern College in Chula Vista from the Fall of 2005 to Spring 2008 where she gained her Associate’s Degree. In the Fall of 2008, she was accepted into the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine, where she plans to graduate with her B.A. in Dance in the Spring of 2010. Lyndsay is one of six newest members to make the current KM 2009 team.
